How to Take a Proper Pool Water Sample
Here’s a simple guide for collecting a water sample the right way:

Submerge it elbow-deep, then turn it upright to collect the water.

Avoid collecting water near return jets or skimmers, as this can give an inaccurate reading.

Bring it to the pool shop within 20 minutes of sampling.

Do not use food or drink containers—these will be discarded immediately.
Why Regular Testing Is Non-Negotiable

“Your body has a natural pH between 7.2 and 7.4,” Kylie explains. “That’s also the ideal range for pool water. When your pool sits in this zone, chlorine works better, and swimmers are more comfortable.”
